For 1 week in May, 5 Ottawa Bead stores will come together to give you a fun filled shopping opportunity.  You will be able to discover the different items that each store has to offer and get to know the unique people that own and run these stores.

Five bead stores in the Ottawa area have organized a "Bead Bop" in a celebration of their love of beads and jewellery making. Together they will welcome other bead enthusiasts to their stores for a special week in May.

Last year 334 excited boppers visited 5 stores in the Ottawa area. Each bopper purchases a Passport at his or her local store and then during the Bead Bop they go, often in groups, from store to store picking up free gifts from each store along the way.

The Passports go on sale Friday March 31st, not a moment before, and cost $12.00. When you get your passport you also get a loot bag.

As you Bop around the Ottawa area take your Passport and get it stamped in each store to be eligible for prizes. Also each store will add to your loot bag.

Loot bags will have a random assortment or treasures so you and your buddies may get different items from one another.

Once your Passport is stamped at a store you will receive a ballot and your name goes into a draw at that store for a $50.00 Gift Certificate.

Once your passport has a stamp from every store we take your information and enter you into the "Grand Prize Draw for 5 $50.00 Gift Certificates" That's right a Gift Certificate of $50.00 at each of the participating stores. Yes - That's a total of $250.00.
